About Scott Wright
After completing a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Waterloo in the 1980s, I worked as a software engineer in my hometown of Ottawa, Canada. Having developed a passion for the “people” side of business, I went back to school for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Ottawa.
For 10 years, I worked as a software product manager in multiple technology industries, including aerospace, knowledge management and cyber security. I later developed my skills as an independent IT and Cyber Security consultant, working with many teams of professionals in different public and private sector organizations.
In 2019, I co-founded a gamified online training company called Click Armor® to teach employees how to spot and avoid security risks. Throughout this journey, I’ve developed a unique perspective on what works and doesn’t work when teaching individuals about how to build value for their careers, and within their industries.
I now use my wide variety of experiences to help business leaders of today and tomorrow learn how they can accelerate their career through targeted accountability activities. Whether working in inherently human-facing work environments, or leveraging new, AI-driven technologies, working professionals need to build resilient, long-lasting relationships that will propel their journey through many successes as industry conditions evolve.
